Six persons died in Nepal landslide

In Nepal, six persons have died in landslide in Baglung district. Four persons died after their home was buried under the landslide last night in Bahungaun.

Two more persons died in two separate incidents of landslide in the district. Superintendent of Police of Baglung Chandra Kuber Khapung told our Kathmandu correspondent that three bodies recovered today morning and three in the afternoon.

The torrential rains have triggered multiple landslides in the western part of Baglung district.

Meanwhile, normal life has been affected in some parts of Nepal due to incessant rains. Around 200 houses have been submerged in Kailali district due to overflowing water of Patharaiya River entered human settlements. Hundreds of houses have also been inundated and hectors of paddy fields have been damaged in Nawalparasi district.
