Gangtok (Sikkim): The TOT (Training of Trainers) 2017 program begins at Shram Bhawan, which was organised by NYKS, Sikkim State, Min of Youth Affairs and Sports, GOI. The training programme was inagurated by Shri Khem Pr. Dahal, Hon’ble Chairman Sikkim Youth Development Board as Chief Guest. Shri Dahal greeted all the delegates by offering Khada.
There was twenty participants from four districts of Sikkim who attend this training program. The purpose of the training program is to train the master trainers. on the topics training methods and techniques, communication skills, reporting, press release, documentation, preparation of module and presentation, stress management techniques, training skill, motivational techniques for volunteer involvement and lot more. The trainess will also be given heart fullness meditation at Ram Chandra Mission Ashram by Shri R Telang, IAS, Commissioner Secretary, Social welfare Dept. Govt. of Sikkim. These Master trainers in future are going to train the National youth volunteers and encourage the youth to involve in social work and do some good to our society.
In the inagural ceremony honourable chief guest Shri Khem Pr. Dahal advised the trainees to be more active and perform their role towards the society very gracefully. He focused on the issue of unemployement in Sikkim state and asked the trainees for their support. Shri Nabin Kumar Naik greeted the guest and briefed the trainees about the training which is going to be continued for another three days. The inagural ceremony was ended with vote of thanks extended by shri Dillip kumar Shrama,Accounts officer NYK, Namchi.
